Lake Bogoria Game Reserve

Lake Bogoria National Reserve is majorly known for its hot springs. The magma chambers which is alleged to be 2000 meters deep causes geysers to form leading to the creation of hot springs. Its also a pink lake due to the presence of pink flamingoes. Other wild animals in this reserve include:- crocodiles, hippos, buffalos, cheetahs, impalas, zebras, warthogs and  hyenas. There are many activities to engage in when visiting this breathtaking place located in the Rift valley , Baringo county. These activities include:-Bird watching ,its not just the spectacular pink flamingoes that one will get to see but also thousands of bird species. Game viewing of wild animals, Hiking, cycling and also a chance to boil an egg in the hot springs . This beautiful game reserve can be accessed by road, a  four to five hours drive from Nairobi.
